Why am I being charged tax?
Battels Hardware & Tool Co. is located in California all shipments within the state will be charged the appropriate tax of the destination zip code.
Will you accomodate my tax-exempt order?
We are not able to accept tax exempt purchases on our website..
Are your tools new or used?
We sell new & reconditioned tools. Unless otherwise marked, all advertised tools are new.
Does your e-store contain your entire inventory?
No. We carry approximately 35,000 items in stock within our California retail store. We continue to add items to the e-store as quickly as possible, but we have many products in stock at any given time which may not appear on the website. If you are looking for a specific item that you cannot find, please drop us an email at battelshardware@verizon.net and we will be happy to email you back with availability and pricing.
Do you have a catalog?
Our catalog is our online store. We are also a True Value store with access to the True Value wharehouse for additional items on special order.
We have not been able to find a cost effective way to publish a printed catalog with an ever changing inventory with over 35,000 items in stock. We are continuously adding items to the website, so check back often for updates or send us an email regarding any specific item you cannot locate.
How do I find out about sales or specials?
We will send out a monthly newsletter to our registered customers on upcoming sales and events, or check out our home page for all sales, specials, and clearance items.
How long do your sales last?
Sales last from two weeks to a Month, depending on demand and availability. All sale prices and terms are valid only during specified times and while supplies last.
Do you offer discounts for large quantity/wholesale ordering?
We keep our prices at competitive rates. If you have a lower price, please give us a call and we will see if we can do better for you!
Does Battels.com offer a warranty?
Battels.com supports any and all warranties offered by the manufacturer.
How long are the warranties?
Most of our manufacturers issue a one year manufacturer's limited warranty which covers parts and labor but there are many exceptions and ongoing updates to warranty programs. It is recommended that you refer to the specific manufacturer's website for details.
How do I know if my tool is covered under warranty?
Authorized service centers are trained to determine whether damage or defects are covered under warranty. We are unable to determine the nature of tool problems over the phone or via email. If you are concerned that your tool may not be covered under the manufacturer warranty, we would recommend contacting the nearest authorized service center directly for technical assistance.
